InFocus Have Something To Smile About At CES 2012

The Mondopad Brings All New Excitement To The Business Meeting

First when I saw this large screen I was thinking it was a monitor hooked up to some sort of PC and where is the rest of the InFocus booth.  InFocus knows what businesses want when it comes to presenting in conference rooms, introducing a creative new product the Mondopad 55” Touch Tablet at the CES 2012.  Kim Terca, representing InFocus gave us a first hands-on-deck look at the Mondopad.

This giant tablet gives businesses the opportunity to visually present, annotate and share ideas with its powerful whiteboard and all-in-one PC at a very reasonable price.

Mondopad is an 1080p LCD multi-touch touch screen with support for 2 touch and Windows 7 Gesturing, also includes an Intel i5 processor,  4gb memory and a 320gb Sattaii Hard Drive, HDMI, USB  inputs, voice optimized sound bar, HD 720p Camera and 4 integrated mic’s for brilliant video conferencing.

Filled with a full copy of Microsoft Office and the Mondopad interface software which allows for collaborating with applications like; PDF, JPGs, eMail, Adobe Connect, Skype, GoToMeeting and many other programs alike.

I loved how you can use your fingers as whiteboard pens using the whiteboad wizard rather than using those whiteboards that never last.  It’s great for running videos and browsing the web.  Plus, the ability to control the Mondopad’s Wi-Fi capabilities, which allows for sending documents to and from the Mondopad.

The Mondopad comes included with a wireless keyboard & mouse and stand.

InFocus has been getting a wave of top reviews for the Mondopad.  I like it, highly recommended and better than projectors and rollup screens and seriously boring whiteboards with those pens that last a meeting or two if you’re lucky.  Kim informed us the Mondopad is available for purchase at reseller locations at just $5,949.
